GBIt was a beautiful house situated in Hove, only a 5 minute drive away from Brighton. The house was Clean and tastefully decorated, would 100% recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in or around Brighton and Hove!
The garden could have been tidied up
GBWe really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The parking on site is a massive plus in an area where free parking is very limited. The kitchen was well equipped with both good appliances and plenty of cutlery and crockery for up to 6 people. In addition the property had the basics in terms of cleaning products, condiments, tea and coffee left for our use. There is a nice lounge with a big HD TV and a large 6 seater dining table and chairs. The bathroom is small but has a good powerful shower with abundant hot water and the towels provided were excellent. All 3 bedrooms had comfortable beds, 2 double rooms and a spacious single and each had additional bedding in the event of chilly weather which we were grateful to use. The garden has a patio with a table and chairs but unfortunately it was too cold to spend time outside. All of the above, plus the convenient location in walking distance to some local pubs and easy public transport, mean would happily return to this property when next in the Brighton area and recommend it to others.
No negative feedback.
GBNot much!
The property is NOT as photographed. It is filthy, the rugs are covered in hairs and debris. We even tried to vacuum but that was broken. Pots and pans are disgusting thrown in a cupboard on the floor. We were forced to eat out as we did not want to put our food on the pans, when all we wanted to do was rest after a very long journey. The garden is a mess. Broken cabinets all over the house. Blinds are broken and inoperable. Broken, stained cups. 1 wine glass. Filthy bed when we arrived. A lady came claiming to be the Owner with her daughters (4 &5), left them running all over the house, touching our things whilst she changed the bed. We asked for clean unstained cups which she did go to Dunelm to buy but the property should’ve been properly equipped before our arrival. She brought back toilet paper telling us she knew we needed it- why was it not there before our arrival? When she came to change the sheets she brought brand new, in the package, sheets - not washed/cleaned! There was food in cupboards and freezers. Theres a handful of children’s hangers in the one wardrobe and 2 on the clothes rail in the dining area. The property is in a dire state of disrepair. If we could’ve left we would but were there for a wedding. We contacted Booking who have not helped resolve this. The owner has taken since 8:00 Sunday 31.5.26 to reply with lies!! Claiming we had children with us - that’s interesting considering she brought her 2 daughters in pink tutus, left them to run riot around the house when in all truth it was 3 women in their late 50’s!!! We were left to babysit their children who wouldn’t stop touching our things. We were concerned for their welfare. It was a liability and very stressful, We definitely did not get the relaxing evening we planned for or weekend. Photos show disgusting kitchen, filthy hood, moldy wall, pans thrown on cupboard floor, filthy rugs, filthy chair, rundown garden.

GBPlenty of room for 4adults 2 kids everything worked great location in between Brighton and Worthing parking for our two cars right outside the house very clean huge open space downstairs and garden outside had a great time thanks
GBBeautiful home, light and spacious
Nothing to not like, it just felt cold when we arrived, but we were only staying one night so not really a problem
GBGreat location, with FREE parking and very good facilities. We only needed one bedroom and were able to avail of a favourable rate for our stay during the off peak season. The property is equipped and styled with good taste and practicality in mind. We didn't get to enjoy the wonderful garden due to the short stay but for those who like the outdoors (and when the weather is good) it is very well landscaped. Little details of having a tea towel to dry the dishes, kitchen basics like salt, pepper, a toaster and a selection of cutlery helped make a trip away from home, feel like we were at home.
GBWelcoming, bright and spacious home.
