Whitstable Wishes, a Stylish Seaside Retreat, Whitstable with Parking Space

Everything was just what we wanted for a week away with the 2 dogs. Close to beach and town. Very clean and well layed out. Wished we'd booked for longer.

Very cosy and beautifully done out; spotlessly clean and with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We loved the quirky and inventive layout. We didn't use the sofa bed, but the main bedroom bed was very comfortable (we actually meant to have a look at the make so we could get the same mattress!) Sam, the owner, was helpful and responsive and had left a lovely 'welcome' pack with tea, coffee and milk, along with a bubbly treat in the fridge. There's a helpful folder with all the information you might need. It's a short walk into town - the main street is full of cafés, restaurants and shops and they were all open despite our visit being 'off season'. Having a parking space was great and it was easy to access the property once Sam sent the gate and key safe codes. The bedlinen and towels were lovely quality. All in all we had a great experience and would highly recommend this property!

There really wasn't anything that could've made our stay better! Maybe a tea towel in the kitchen? But this wasn't a big issue! The wifi cut in and out a bit which affected the tv but there were some roadworks going on outside, so this may have been why?

Beautifully appointed apartment with secluded courtyard garden. Very comfortable and roomy. Sam the host was very accommodating and communicative. Private off street parking was great. Very well situated for the harbour and Harbour Street’s lovely shops, restaurants and cafes and the High Street as well as the seafront and Tankerton.

Would have liked a 5ft double bed. There was one hand towel in the bathroom and 2 small bath towels so we requested more and Sam gave us the padlock combination to the spare linen chest in the hall.

Very nice, well-presented, clean & tidy accommodation. Location was very good too and met our needs for our break. In terms of facilities, we didn’t need to use them all; in fact, we only used the TV, radio (nice touch!), fridge, kettle and microwave (the latter just once), but those were all good. Communication from our host prior to arrival was friendly and accurately detailed.

We loved Whitstable Wishes so we only had some minor niggles: the radiator near the front door never came on, but the others around the flat did, so for the most part we were warm enough. We would’ve liked a bigger sofa or foot stools, so we could both comfortably put our feet up after our long walks around the area. Finally, there was a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge but no reference to it in the welcome pack or other communications, so I contacted the owner via email to 1. Thank them for letting us know that we could access the property slightly earlier on our arrival day and 2. Ask if the Prosecco was actually intended for us, but I never received a reply during our stay. In the end, we assumed the bottle was for us so brought it home - thank you and cheers!

Very nice layout, quirky but modern. Enclosed patio space with private parking. Location was excellent, ten minutes walk into Whitstable busy coffee shops, eateries etc. 3 minutes over the road to pebbled beach.
