Check-in was a bit bumpy. Mail with essential info came a day too late but we worked it out.

The property was a nice place to stay. But I would recommend it only for a couple to stay. We had a child with us and the bed for the child was like a couch that was not comfortable at all. It was very small, but okay to stay for a few nights maybe alone or as a couple. The place was clean and all amenities were available.

The bed/couch for a child or one person was not comfortable to sleep on at all.

Nice small apartment with everything you need for a few day stay. House staying away from noisy streets and our night there been so quiet and peaceful. It will be tricky to climb up with a luggage by a steep stairs, but thanks lord next floor ours.

I been worried about parking and unfortunately they sent me parking instructions after few calls, when I been at place …. there is no spot or much space to park and wait… that’s the only thing I didn’t like.

Everything was perfect …apart from the cleanliness which was not superb but good enough 8/10. Everything else was 10/10.The owner is very polite and helpful ..

The location is perfect and the parking too. But it is little spooky at night if you have a little child.The sofa bed is a little uncomfortable. Apart from that I could return to the flat if I go to Genoa again.

Location is excellent, very close to the major streets and attractions. It's an all-new renovation, and the facilities were excellent. The host was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The unit was clean and spacious. Everything else about this rental was terrible - no central reception area; its loud and sketchy neighborhood; the confusing access directions; the dangerous, darkened 20-step staircase from the alleyway up to the second floor unit, the defective keypad/electronic key-lock, and on and on

Just about everything was terrible. There is no central lobby/reception for this place; we received confusing directions how to access an alley-way door, behind which was a very steep and long set of stairs (unlit), at the top of which was another door with a keypad. We entered the code and the door buzzed open. As we opened the door, the inside part of the electronic lock fell off the door and to the floor, scattering the batteries. We used just the key for the rest of our stay, as the defective keypad/electronic lock system was inoperative. Also . . . The neighborhood is loud at night, and kind of sketchy. Worst of all, the owner tried to charge us $500 for their defective keypad/electronic lock after we left (see above - it fell off when we opened the door). We are seasoned travelers in our mid-60's (with a 5.0 Airbnb rating), and the combination of the dangerous staircase, the defective lock system, the sketchy neighborhood, and the owner's fraudulent scam to charge us for that lock system adds up to a "no star" rating for this place.
