The apartment was recently entirely redone and is a contemporary, nice 2-room flat with a huge TV screen in the living room to relax. The bathroom is modern with an Italian shower (rain shower, no hand shower) and two sinks.

The internet was continuously dropping: every 15-20 minutes, down for 4-5 minutes making it impossible to have a proper video conference, and very frustrating in the evening when trying to watch a movie on streaming. The bedroom was very nicely redone and has a very modern touch, but the mattress did seem a little worn. Sleeping was however not a problem, and Simon -the host- had thought of equipping each room with a fan, to help with the summer heat.

The apartment was very nice and confortable. The private parking place was very usefull.

Location was perfect for us as our relatives were just up the road. Parking was great with spaces at the back of the property. Large TV. Kitchen had microwave and toaster.

Kitchen had not been cleaned by the cleaner. The host had been let down by the cleaning company. Bathroom was also not up to standard with only one towel in the whole property. You could write your name in the dust on the bedside lamps.

It's an excellent 1 bed room flat of at least 70 square meters, being on the 1st floor of a classic 4 flat, 2 stories high building. Large bedroom, large living room, kitchen and bathroom. Everything is very much brand new. The heating works great, the water flow is strong, the bed is queen size. Huge TV in the living room. FREE PARKING at the back of the property. The Redhill station is about 7 minutes of brisk walk. It was an excellent value !

The house itself doesn't have a 101 number plate on it. So you feel quite confused when arriving by GPS. The dental practice next door has the 103 plate, that's how I understood that I was in the right place. The apartment itself is MUCH better than the communal area of the building, which is far from being fresh, scoring no more than OK. Also the stairs are quite narrow and steep -- so this is unlikely to suit the people with mobility issues. And the entry door to the apartment feels super flimsy (not a surprise in the UK apartment buildings). Also when the lorries are passing by the street one can feel the shake of the shower cabin. Doesn't bother me but might be an issue for someone else. Overall these are minor details, which I am just listing here to give an accurate view of the property.
