Stunning Town Center Cottage with hot tub

amazing location and the cottage was spotless! super comfy stay!

the only thing i can think of would be the addition of some oven trays.

central location had everything you needed easy check in easy parking

bed too low, difficulty getting in and out due to mobility issues stairs steeper than anticipated

This is our second stay at this property and we will definitely be coming back in the future! Everything was spotless, the beds are so comfortable makes it difficult leave it in the morning. The location is perfect there is lots of different things to do while here from good food, nice little pubs for drinks with friendly people to meet and a lovely market, we got wrapped up and went for a lovely walk across the river. The staff are very attentive and friendly people also thank you again for a lovely stay 😁

Beautiful property, clean and very comfortable,bed room with the roll bath in was Beautiful, great location for restaurants and pubs ,hot tub was amazing! Very relaxing stay.

The hot tub was great.

The kitchen ceiling had plaster hanging off, big cracks in both the kitchen and sitting room ceilings, cracked wine glass, dirty fridge, dirty windows, dust on blinds and skirting boards, faeces on the duvet cover, unknown bodily fluids in the shower drain, fire doesn't work, door handle was hanging off, 3 x messages "gently reminding us" that payment was cash upon arrival yet no sign of anyone. Arrived at 3pm on 25th as confirmed, tried to call at 3.06pm no answer, messaged at 3.13pm not read. Reply at 12.54pm on 26th advising we were to pay cash to the cleaner at 10am on 27th...when we found faeces on the duvet cover on the evening of 26th we came home. Attached to a pub which we heard every word of every karaoke song on 25th evening. Not as advertised whatsoever and massively disappointing. Sent photos and videos to the number I'd corresponded with from booking, got a call from an unknown number who then said it was Alex the owner. Have messages from him telling me he will pay 2 x as much to take me to court, threatened me with debt collection agencies, sent me a voice note l, then I find he reported to booking.com that we were a no show! Feacel matter is biohazardous and a danger to our health but Alex didn't acknowledge this whatsoever.then said we left the property jn an unfit state which is also untrue. He then said he'd reduce the price to £250 and leave it at that. Then when I challenged that again on the hygiene standards he said he would pay 4 x as much to his solicitor and win in court. I'm absolutely appalled at the state of the "cottage" which is infact a terraced house, have advised I will report to environmental health and trading standards. He then stated he has all of my details which was pretty intimidating to be honest! I have every message from him should they be needed as evidence of his awful tone.

Liked the layout of the house and it was very well designed. Hot tub was lovely.

A lack of cups and glasses, more tea towels and toilet rolls. Small things but they are the finishing touches. Also the tv in the bedroom needs a good dusting behind as we spotted a huge cobweb, a spider did appear in the bath tub on our 1st night so maybe the culprit?
