Modern 3 Bedroom Property centrally based

Liked the inside of the house, well equipped, clean and comfortable.

Didn't like the location, was in a much more residential setting than expected so we didn't feel as if we were on holiday. Outside area a bit run down. Not a lot to do in Balinvalich, thought the couple of restaurants would have been in walking distance, but sadly not. However, kitchen well equipped so we could do our own thing.

There was easy access to the house. We never met the owner. All done remotely. The house was part of a block of houses but we didn't hear the neighbours. The dishwasher was small but big enough for two people. Appreciated having a washing machine and washing line. The house was warm when we arrived. I loved the fire heater. I loved the layout of the downstairs. Great to have a toilet separate from the bathroom.

Not a biggie but I was surprised that there was no coffee, tea or milk which has been standard practice at every hotel, bnb and accommodation I have stayed in anywhere in the world. No soap for the shower only hand wash soap. There were a few non-perishables which i think were left by other guests. There was however a cupboard full of cleaning.products for the dishwasher and benches and stove. There is a really good supermarket down the road which is luckily open 7 days a week to pick up supplies.

Excellent location on Benbecula for visiting both Uists. Newly done and comfortable. Conveniently placed for supermarket and couple nice restaurants.

Only really parking for 1 car. In effect no garden .

Die Betten waren für uns zu hart. Die Küche war neu, jedoch fehlten z.B. Abeaschlappen und -Tücher. Die Küche war auf ein Minimum eingerichtet. Sonst hat es uns gut gefallen.

Very well equipped throughout. Bright and modern.

No instructions for heating. Back garden badly needed weeding.

Excellent location, close to a beach for dog walks and easy reach of local supermarket for supplies. House is located in a quiet cul de sac on the edge of town so very little traffic noise (though you might hear starlings doing impressions of corncrakes...).

People who struggle with mobility (I don't, fortunately) might find the stairs a little steep. The upstairs bathroom window doesn't open (key has snapped in the lock) and there's no ventilation fan so getting rid of excess steam from the bath/shower is tricky.

Fabulous house with everything you could ask for , great location in balivanich , lovely helpful host and great value for money, would highly recommend and will hopefully be back one day

Great location, great space. Lovely comfortable beds. Large equipped kitchen. High chair available

Lots of space, nice bathroom, walk in shower was an advantage, due to mobility issues. Washing machine, dishwasher and cooking facilities are good.

Some dirty pans in cupboard, needed to clean hob before use. Small things like a wall mirror would be nice and a shaving mirror in bathroom again would make life easier. Perhaps a chair in bedrooms . Just little touches to make the property much better. Would book this house again though
