Cleanliness and close to town

It was perfect

I liked how close it was to downtown manitou (basically in it). I also liked how comfy the bed was!

I wish there was a microwave so that I could reheat takeout.

I could tell that care was taken in decorating my room. It was clean and updated, especially for the price. The bed, bedding and pillows were amazing! Super comfy after a day out and about.

The exterior gave me pause. Honestly, I almost cancelled as soon as I pulled up but I REALLY had to use the restroom. The paint and sign have for sure seen better days, and there was actually a broken down looking truck with a knife sharpening business advertisement in the side. A woman alone in a rundown looking motel with that truck outside was like how 60% of how horror movies start. Also, I honestly think the pictures on the website were misleading. The room looked a LOT bigger. I didn't need bigger, so it wasn't a deal breaker, but it did feel like a bait and switch.

No staff no amenities but a good clean basic room

Quiet building for such an historic town. Wind was raging up to 70 mph outside and I had no clue inside. Adorable and comfortable rooms. Friendly and prompt staff. Convenient walking distance to everything. Creek is calming and peaceful.

Beautiful location. Not very spacious, but has everything you need for a night.

Communication with the staff was a bit difficult but eventually okay. Hotel is a bit old from outside and the door doesn’t close properly.

I loved the location, how easy check in and out were, and the room had everything we needed for our weekend stay.

The walls a slightly thin, we could somewhat hear our neighbors and the people above us seemed to be pacing all night.

The location was tucked away and by the creek so it was peaceful and mountian views to boot. The room was open and cozy and I would definitely stay again
