Luxury City Centre Home with Free Parking

The kitchen was as shown in the picture, clean and well equipped. Each room had an ensuite. It was close to the Uni and the city centre.

The street was rather dodgy, possibly designed as student accommodation. Not what i would describe as luxury. The shower leaked badly into the kitchen/lounge on the second morning. So three of us couldn’t shower before we left. All having long journeys home. The bedrooms were very basic and the downstairs loo was not clean. I have messaged the owner three times but was told he is away on holiday.

It was a very convenient location for the university (we were attending a graduation) and the city centre being a 15 - 20 minute walk away (a little further for the station). The four bedrooms all had double beds and ensuites which was really handy, although as a result there wasn't always lots of space around the beds. Not a problem though if you're just sleeping there. Also there was a good size lounge and kitchen area with seating outside if the weather was hot enough. There was a good supply of shower gel and toilet roll.

Minor quibbles about a lack of floor mats in the bathrooms for when you step out of the shower - you had to step onto cold and slippery tiles. Also the floor tiles, certainly in the rear top bedroom were a little uneven, and the flooring outside that bedroom felt a bit suspect. One of our party complained the tea towels smelt a little as though they taken a long time to dry or been put away damp. But generally minor quibbles which didn't impact on our stay

Although tvs in each room no connection to normal tv. Could only watch via app in lounge.

Great property with 4 bathrooms to comfortably fit 8 adults. Good location to city centre and off street parking is always a welcome addition. Host was very helpful and the guest book was very useful, although just afew details about the bin situation would be nice (unless i missed it!). Kitchen was clean, large, and had everything needed. Very happy with our stay and would consider it again!

Additional towels, kitchen towels, toilet roll, hand soap, would have been appreciated. Found the towels to still be damp and some still had stains on... Each toilet only had afew sheets of toilet roll and the soaps were empty on arrival. Other than that it was perfectly as expected and we all enjoyed our stay.

The house is clean and the beds are comfortable to sleep on. The living room is a great place to socialise with friends. The hosts were friendly and approachable.
