Elegantný Art Deco byt v Banskej Bystrici

Výnimočný interiér. Blízkosť centra. Ústretovosť ubytovateľa.

The design of the Art Deco flat is superb. The bathroom and toilet (separate) in particular are tiled and fitted with real retro fixtures. The main room is huge with high ceilings and comfortable furniture. It's at ground floor on a noisy street though. The kitchen is large and would be easy to cook in (we didn't cook). There was some tea left by the owner as well as some cooking oil and salt and the other basics (olive oil would be better than sunflower especially for salads). The host Lucia is kind and courteous. If you want a stylish place nearby the main train station in Banska Bystrica, her Art Deco flat is a good choice.

While the main bedroom is very quiet on the courtyard side, it's down a staircase in the basement. It's a bit moist and dank. For those who suffer from bronchitis or have a cough, it's probably better to sleep upstairs. But the main room is noisy because of the traffic outside the street side window, particularly on work days. Plan to rise very early.

Anweisungen/Mitteilungen zum Zutritt zum Apartment über Booking.com haben nicht funktioniert...es war ein Telefonat mit Booking.com nötig, für das wir 30 Minuten in der Warteschleife gewartet haben...man erhält eine Telefonnummern aus den Vereinigten arabischen Emiraten, wo offenbar die Gastgeberin ansässig ist...das irritierte zunächst etwas...das war schade, weil ansonsten alles top ist...

Ubytovanie je skvelé 👍, konfortné, vinikajúca poloha - cca 5 min. chôdze k pamätníku SNP, 10-15 min. centrum Čo sa mi páčilo je retro zariadenie Kuchyňa komplet zariadená👍 Parkovanie v uzatvorenom dvore, kde je prístup iba na kľúč🚗

The apartment is spacious and clean, which made it feel cozy and welcoming right away. Decoration is thoughtfully done to match the era of the building’s architecture. It gives the whole place nostalgic vibe that feels authentic. The location is also a big plus, just a short walk to the city center with shops, restarurants and cafes. Great place to stay with character, comfort, and convenience.
