Blackpool Central Apartments 2 Bedroom FF

I like the fact its location was in the center right near arcades also meaning its not a far walk to either end of the pier from the location so easy to get to and from. Their are alot of transport routes available from the property. There were lots of places to eat and shops around the location. The people who owned had put little finishing touches like pictures on the wall, vase decorations and throws on the beds. It was clean on arrival and the owners were friendly and polite.

On arrival we were told the previous guest had broken a window in the kitchen so it had been patched up on close inspection this was a piece of tie were the handle should be so the window would not close to be secure and there was a flat roof directly behind this window. We left 1 day early as we could not sleep having 2 young children we had tried to stick it out but the lack of sleep got to us. In the owners defence they did say if it was so much of a problem we should have said and they would have got the emergency fitters out which were booked for Tuesday but realistically an unsecured point of entry shouldn't need to be asked to be fixed especially knowing their are young ones in there. They also stated all doors are lockable so we could have locked the bedroom door but incase of an emergency you want a clear quick escape route. All the window handles were rusted and stuck open so they would open further but not close, so with the location there was alot of noise from bingo, pubs and drunk people fighting early hours that we were unable to block out and I also see how the handle came off with them being so hard to move. The owners have called to apologise and offered us compensation in the way of 2 free nights mid week if we decide to come back but due to the location and noise I dont feel this is family suited, in my opinion an adult only stay would be better.

Window were very hard to open and close Should have been made clearer that owner who lived on top floor would be walking down stairs in the middle of apartment. It only stated he lived on top floor and that he was away I was unaware that when coming out of living area to go to bathroom for example we would bump into him. My daughter felt very uncomfortable

The owner was fantastic with information and a phone call prior to arriving. Within a 10 mins walk of the main town and tower. Clean, big rooms, coffee and tea provided and heating on when we arrived. First trip back to Blackpool in over 10 years and it made our stay perfect

Great location for beach, amusements and shops. Ecellent communication and help from host. Comfortable beds, plentiful hot water for showers. Well equiped kitchen.

Some external noise from the street and pub opposite late at night but not enough to disturb a six yr old

It was easy to access the host was very helpful responding promptly to my messages the apartment was immaculate plus loved the fact I could book lake checkout for a tiny fee

The only problem I found was there were 2 fire doors between the 2 bedrooms so we had to sleep in the same room as my son is only 3 but we made it work
