EVERYTHING ELSE !! This has been one of the worst experiences of my life, and I strongly advise others not to waste their money on this place. From the start, the conditions were unacceptable: 1. The room was dirty upon arrival and there was a sewage smell that never went away. The shared kitchen was a complete mess, dishes were always piled up in the sink, and no one enforced basic hygiene. The microwave was rusted and unsafe until they finally replaced it after repeated complaints. The environment was simply unlivable for an extended stay. 2. The room was right in front of the motorway, so the noise was constant and made it impossible to open the window during the day. At night, construction work and car noise made sleep impossible, and the neighbor was EXTREMELY NOISY every single night. Complaining changed nothing. They know that the wall between room are extremely thin so everything can be heard. But if you complaint about it, they will simply say they understand and DO NOTHING. 3. The only lift was damaged and felt unsafe, and overall, the building was poorly maintained. Gate at the entry was broken for days and still was when I left. 4. What made the experience even worse was the reception staff, and both theirs and Booking.com customer services which pretend to care, acting all professional and concerned, but they don’t actually do anything to solve your problems. Every time I complained, they would patronize me with fake apologies and empty reassurances, but nothing was ever resolved. I asked to change rooms multiple times, and despite available rooms being listed online, they lied and said they were full and refused to relocate me. Bottom line: DO NOT STAY HERE. The accommodation is horrible, the staff lie to your face, and Booking.com will not protect you if something goes wrong. I have used Booking.com for years, but this experience was so bad that I will seriously reconsider using their service again!

De locatie, ongeveer 10 á 15 minuten loopafstand van het centrum en ook dichtbij het busstation, treinstation.

De muren van de kamers zijn best dun dus je kan je buren horen praten, ook bij het dicht slaan van de deuren of lades. Waardoor je zelf extra stil moet zijn in je eigen kamer om anderen niet te storen. Wc was niet goed schoon gemaakt. Ook handig om te weten dat je kamer pas na het uitchecken weer wordt schoon gemaakt.

Facilities are great. The close location to GCU is good, especially as the library is open to the public
