Balong Balong Surf Bungalows & Restaurant

The location of this place was amazing. The staff super friendly and the sunsets incredible. I hired a surfboard from them but managed to break it when I got dumped. They were very fair with it all and were concerned if I was okay. The dogs here are so charming. Lots of other tourists and some FIFO workers here. A very nice place to relax and unwind for a few days. Was great to have heaps of water in the rooms. And could swim right out the front of the resort. Would check out Lisa’s Garden if looking to get out for a meal.

We Absolutely loved our stay here. Food is good, accommodation is good, staff is very lovely and helpful. It's a beautiful place to be, clean beach out front. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here if you going to West Sumbawa. When we are coming back this is the place to go. To the balong balong staff - keep up your good work you guys are absolutely the best. Big shout out to Eldi, he's the man.

The acommodation was amazing! Wonderful location in front of the beach watching the ocean. you can hear the ocean in your bed. very friendly staff. perfect for also relaxing and have some quiet days if you are not surfing. Loved to stay there.

The view out the front of the property is perfect. Rooms are nice, good size, fridge, kettle. Food in restaurant is incredible.

Only thing was my room backed onto the road, so a little bit noisy at times!

Amazing!! Photos don’t do this place justice. Location, staff and food were 10/10. Can’t wait to come back soon!
