Stylish Two Large Double Bedroom House in Central Harrogate with on street parking

Lovely shabby chic character house , very clean and warm In great location close to town centre. The owner was super helpful and very accommodating with lots of clear instructions 😊

Could do with a freezer even as part of the fridge for ice for drinks.

Great property with character and all the mod cons. So central to everything. We had parking permits provided by the owner which were really useful.

Fantastic location, master bedroom was lovely, especially the slipper bath. The decor was stylishly put together.

Stairs to the master bedroom are steep and could be a struggle for some people.

The house was well appointed and didn't need to worry about a lot of things. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen. The top floor bedroom with en-suite was beautiful. The host was really engaging ( thank you for the toffee and biscuits). The house is in the town centre close to amenities. Also it was warm and cosy

There were two big issues; one was the furnishings. one of the dinning room chairs had a hole, the sofa in the lounge was really uncomfortable so was able to relax in the evening. The mattresses in room were really soft and both my colleague struggled to sleep ( maybe a mattress topper would help). Secondly the Carbon Monoxide sensor battery needs replacing and we had this irritating coming from it throughout the stay. We had to place it in the basement but it was still noisy!

Central position near town and station. Roomy dining room and lounge. Big bedrooms, comfortable beds except for the futon in the back bedroom. Fabulous modern suite in the loft conversion. Tiny but well equipped kitchen. Very helpful owner, who left a house book with lots of information., and responded to a few of our queries very promptly.

Car parking permits unavailable, so it was necessary to go to a car park, which wasn't very convenient as the weather was very rainy. The futon in the back bedroom was very low and uncomfortable. Chilly in the house but thermostat not working, so to put central heating on necessitated going down into the cellar to press an over-ride button.

I came to Harrogate for the weekend with my mum and sister and from start to finish the host Sally was incredible. Great communication throughout. The house is only a 2 minute walk into the town centre and has easy parking. The house is gorgeous with two real fires . It's on 3 stories so there's plenty of space. Sally left us a list of different bars/restaurants and takeaways also places of interest to visit. We had the best time and next time we're in Harrogate I will not hesitate to book again :) Thank you so much :))
