"Beautiful location but hotel a bit tired"

The hotel is in a great location with amazing views and the village is a lovely place to visit. The breakfast is good and great value that included with the price.

We were allocated a 'Garden Room' but it overlooked the car park and the back entrance for staff where they stood outside smoking which was disappointing. The decor of the hotel is very dated and especially the sexualised images of women on the walls. We found that the front desk staff member was not very friendly on arrival and it would have been nice to have had a smile and been made to feel more welcome.
