Little White House near Royal Farm Resort

Great place run by honest good people. We had a free airport shuttle to the accomodation and the host organized a cab back to the airport for us at the end of our stay. Also provided us with free drinking water and was always available for questions and issues. While the location is a bit away from the city, you can always find cabs to bring you there and back. It's quiet and peaceful, the place is clean, the size is just right for two people, the bed is big and comfortable, there's a water dispenser that instantly gives you cold or hot water...

The water can be orange sometimes. I would have liked a microwave for quickly heating up dishes, and my wife would have preferred if there were steel grills at the windows for extra safety.

Our host was awesome. Was quick to react to every need.

Once I figured out how to use the water pump, and the TV remote it was fine. It's my first time visiting the Philippines. 😁

I like that it had everything as stated in the booking. The place is quiet and host is accommodating. We appreciate the free shuttle from the airport.

The toilet smells sometimes and the water is light brownish especially on the washing machine portion. You need to have your own ride to conveniently stay here.

Great value for money, and very caring host. The room is bigger than we expected. Having a motorized pump assures good water pressure when taking a shower. Appreciated the kitchen tools and amenities. We were able to cook some breakfast. The host is very genial and always ready to help. Even went out of her way to return the helmet we left behind back to the rental. Also appreciated the free bottled waters. This is a great place to stay when visiting Dipolog-Dapitan especially if you have a car or motorcycle.

We had a great stay at the Little White House! From the moment we arrived, it felt just like home. The host, Cherry, was amazing—she was so friendly and really helped make sure everything was set up for me. The only small issue was that the water wasn’t as clean as I expected, but it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t affect my stay too much. Overall, I’d definitely recommend staying here. It’s cozy, comfortable, and Cherry’s hospitality made it a memorable experience. I’d definitely consider coming back!

The little house is a part of a newly built settlement about 5 km above Dipolog. The settlement has its own security at the entrance, new identical houses still being built around. The house is a one room studio with all the necessary amenities.. air con, good wifi (with an occasional storm blacking it out), a kitchen with stove and fridge, also the rice making pot, washing machine, a flat TV (only internet channels), a shower with an essential boiler, also a drinking water machine. A big comfortable bed, above the average standard. The place is really clean. Stayed there for two weeks. If you need local transport, there are motor tricycles on the main road, expect some extra cost, more on the way back from town. Air pollution in Dipolog is bad, up there the air is much better, still do not expect fresh mountain air in the tropics... On the main road within 5 minute walking distance there is a nice bakery, a sari sari shop with all the basic foods (right side) and a surprisingly quite good eatery (eat on the spot or take away ... on the left side)... about 10-15 mins walk on the left site (check Gmaps) there is a nice discovery... a swimming pool complex Royal Farm.... really a surprise, inexpensive (cheaper than the beaches on the coast ehm), very clean, also with an inexpensive restaurant...

I stayed in the house for two weeks... there were problems with water supply on immediate arrival.... after a repair later in the day the pressure in the pipes was still not strong enough to use shower and a boiler... only one tap gave relatively enough water to use... for everything. i thought it was a bad water pressure up on the hill... then the water system was miraculously repaired by a fresh water delivery man three days before my departure... i could finally shower and had even a warm shower ... luxury... i don't believe you will face similar problems... it was a new experience also for the landlady i believe... the houses in the settlement have been build into a tropical hill with the Dipolog river very close.. ... Ants can be a hassle as they like wandering in ... don't give them an opportunity to find food or remains of food... if you keep it safe in the fridge or tightly in plastic bags... and keep the kitchen clean... garbage out... there will not be uninvited ant crowd to clean or dine instead of you.... a small lizard or a random insect may also wonder in.... As the place is still partially a building site don't expect every morning to be a peaceful one.
