The Grass Residences SM North Quezon City

We booked here looking for a place to stay amidst the bad wheather. As soon as I was able to book successfully at noontime (status confirmed), I called them and they said we can check in by 3pm, suggesting that we have lunch first. So at about 3pm, we went there, walked through the rain and all, and alas, we were just texted that no room available. I was calling and we were told that someone would meet us up, we waited at the lobby, even talked to the wrong agent as we were mistaken already there by other renting property, and yet, we were left waiting for hours. Then we received a text that the reservation will just be cancelled with full refund, so we decided to leave. Then, we confirmed the cancellation and that we left already, that's the time that they texted that someone's there in the lobby to meet us. And we were like, we can't walk in the rain again just to go back!! So we agreed just to cancel, Which they did not do well in the system. I tried to cancel in the system with request for waiver of cost, and the request just remained pending. 2 nights have passed and I had to literally call Booking.com long distance (toll number doesn't work that time) just to request cancellation. We had headaches even up to the last minute that we just want to have our money back. I am now not sure if this property is a scam or they just don't know how to handle situations properly. They should have not let us wait for hours without certainty. Or at least somebody should be physically with us during the wait. so we won't get anxious on whether we would have a place to stay or not! And when finally, we all agreed to just cancel, they should know how to properly do it in the system properly.
