cosy quiet 1 bedroom apartment Carrington

It was filthy with half drunk coffee and food crumbs everywhere - which the owner tried to blame me for! Bin half full of rubbish, bedding stained and bathroom filthy. I didn’t stay for more than 10 minutes and had to find alternative accommodation very late at night. Owner refuses to refund.

Perfect location, safe in a nice part of Nottingham and easy to park car on street. Easy to access flat via lockbox and flat is on 1st floor. Hallway and stairs are nicely decorated and modern. Flat is well maintained and modern and has all the amenities you need for short stay it’s a well equipped kitchen, towels and bedding. Bed is comfortable and we slept well. 2 TVs in lounge and the bedroom but the one in the lounge has internet connection issues so you can’t use Iplayer, Netflix etc from that one.

Just that the main tv in lounge could only get terrestrial TV

Nothing quiet about the location. Loud bass noise all day until midnight at a flat at 1st floor. After couple of messages to the guy that manages the flat, they have turned the volume down, but on again at 9am in the morning. Loud neighbours on the ground floor as well just above the bedroom.The flat is located in the basement, bathroom fan doesn't work, radiator in the kitchen doesn't work(it gets really cold on a rainy day). Smell of cannabis everywhere. It's more like a brothel building with separate flats, with strange leople coming in and out. Avoid staying, especially with kids! The bed sheets and towels were clean No shower gel or handwash. This is more like a £30 flat per night, not £70

Needed somewhere to stay near family and it was ok but not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.very steep narrow stairs .

The facilities, nice to have a kitchenette with the essentials equipment.

Although it was cosy, it was very cold ... Having marble tiles and laminate throughout didn't help. Not sure having the TV in the bedroom (only) was the best place. Would have been nice to sit on the two seater to do that. Lack of information from Owner of code to retrieve keys to get in. Fortunately, he happen to be there when we arrived.

Cooking utensils, pots and pans provided. With cooking oils, salt and pepper etc

When paying over £75 a night would at least expect a decent mattress. Had an absolutely horrible night sleep. The shower was also very tight. Probably the 2 most important things you are looking for. And given a basement flat where there was no reception for some work calls I needed to make.

Really peaceful and quiet, lovely size, probably the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. Had everything you could need, including a smart TV so relaxing with Netflix on was definitely an added bonus. We had a slight hiccup at the start of the stay as we were not given the key box code but the owner quickly resolved this. There was a lady when we returned back to the apartment who was given the key code we were given and was highly upset to find that there were no keys in it, so I think there was abit of a mix up with apartments as there are 3 I believe in the building. So I would recommend anyone staying to request the key code well ahead of their stay, but it was a lovely stay none the less.
