Seaviews Apartment 1, Whitley Bay Sea Front

Fantastic location right on Whitley Bay promenade and an even better view form the large bay window. Above the excellent Takdir restaurant where the food and service were brilliant.

Slight problem for a two car family with only one parking pemit available.

The beds were very hard and we ended up with sore backs.

From start to finish there was so much friendly communication which was impressive! The apartment was simply perfect, me and my doggies had the best time. The location is perfect, right on the beach. My favourite thing had to be the shower it was massive, nice and warm and powerful! There were lovely little touches like notes, biscuits etc. I highly recommend the indian restaurant downstairs as everyone is so so friendly and cannot do enough for you. I will definitely return asap as this is my new favourite holiday spot :-) the beach is amazing and sandy and you can walk for miles, there’s nice pubs and places to eat but I spent most of my time downstairs in the indian restaurant as they made me feel incredibly welcome so thank you all and we cannot wait to return! Also everyone is just so nice and all talk to you!! Highly highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment by the sea. Cracking views. Could sit at the window all day. Shower was great. Lovely welcome gift with coffee, milk and biscuits which were very much appreciated after a stressful drive down from Scotland. Plenty choice for eating out. Would highly recommend the chip shop beside apartment - the best fish and chips we have ever had. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

As per previous reviews, the beds were rather small and uncomfortable but we were aware they were small doubles when we booked. There is also no mention that this property is 3 floors up - which for us was absolutely fine but could be an issue for anyone with limited mobility. The surrounding area seemed to be a bit run down with various works going on around the place - obviously not the fault of property owner just an observation. The only downfall for my wife was no cleaning products as she'd have like to have cleaned up and hoovered before we left - personal preference again. Overall, lovely stay.

Issues with damp. Parking not easy.

The flat's location is excellent and the view of the seafront is fantastic. We had mixed weather for our stay but it really does help on rainy days when you have plenty of space and a great view to look out at.

The views were amazing so close to the sea.

For 4 friends that meet up once or twice a year the bed situation was not great . When you are in your 60s you don’t want to be crawling down the bed to get out in the middle of the night. Also the second rooms bed was too small for 2 people but we couldn’t see any spare bedding for someone to sleep on the couch so that was awkward. The rest of the flat was great only the bedrooms let it down.
