"Exceptional"

We had a lovely and relaxed stay at Heather Lodge. The home and the setting were a pleasure to spend time in, and the hosts really had thought of everything. The house was very comfortable, and walking distance to the village, complete with some hens pecking around in the morning. We didn't light the stove but I can imagine getting cosy here during the winter and just spending time.

"Near as dammit purrfect"

Wonderful location near the village yet private, peaceful and secluded. Outside, magnificent scenery on show all around. Inside, clean, cosy and comfortable. Perfectly located for excursions to the wonders of Conemara.

There was nothing I didn't like.

"Cosy Chalet & amazing host"

The place is spacious, cosy and very clean. It has all the facilities you need and it is completely in nature. The host was very available and flexible and keen on making sure we could enjoy the stay at the max. For instance, since it rained for 2/3 of our booked days She offered late checkout so that we could enjoy the very last day of our stay as the sun was shining. The town is small but it has all you need to rest after a day of exploring and visiting the region. There is a pub very close by, the Hamilton, where food is very good and we went there more than once. Thanks Andrea for hosting us in your special chalet.
