USThe location is convenient. The waterside view is beautiful at sunset. The listed host: Matthew, no longer manages the property. I spoke with Mr. Bonner, who told me he literally just inherited the responsibility of managing the property, although his contact information has not yet been updated on the booking site. He was deeply apologetic that the apartment was filthy but, there was nothing he could do at the time. Because of the state of the accommodation, Booking.com customer service came through with a partial refund. Much appreciated!
This review is much lower than all the others because our apartment was filthy and appears to have sat vacant for several months. All of the earlier reviews were great, so I was shocked by the state of the apartment. Something has radically changed between the last review in October 5, 2025 and our 3-night stay starting on December 31, 2025. I always ignore ratings that are wildly different from the majority of reviews and my hope is the new property manager will swiftly address the problems.
USPerfect price, perfect view outside and just so clean and cozy inside. I loved it.
Can’t find anything I didn’t like
USThe location is quiet and beautiful. The jetted tub is a very nice extra. This studio has plenty of room for two people. We certainly intend to return. We sat outside with coffee in the morning and watched hawks(?) fishing in the bay.
Would be nice to have a small table on each side of the bed.
USUSLocation - right on the Bayou Grande. Sunrise in the morning near the bridge 1/4 mile away and Sunset every night in the yard. Great view.
No blow dryer in the bathroom.
USRoom was beautiful and very comfortable. The view of the bay and getting to see the dolphins was amazing!
The only thing I would have changed would be to have a grill or something to cook on. We like to go out to eat, but we like to cook our own food as well.
