I would like to express my gratitude to the owners of the winery for the excellent stay, the wonderful wine, their kindness, and the warm welcome. We had the chance to take part in grape harvesting and attend a wine tasting. Very positive impressions. We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back ourselves.

Prachtig huisje in schitterende omgeving met uitzicht op bergen. Stilte en schone lucht. Herten die voor je neus langslopen als je buiten zit. Vriendelijke ontvangst door eigenaar, die ook veel nuttige tips geeft over leuke excursies. Locale wijnproeverij sterk aanbevolen.

The cottage is very lovely with all comfort you need for a short stay

The location and the views are superb. Matjaz is a fantastic host with a tremendous passion for the Slovenian heritage and wine making. I rarely leave ratings, but for this place it is a must.

An amazing renovated vineyard cottage with all the amenities you need. Kitchen facilities were good. Wonderful location with great views. The host was generous with his time, friendly, and passionate about his project. An informative wine tasting was included to learn more about the local traditions and wine. The cottage we had was very private with a lovely outside space to relax in. There is also a hot tub and sauna available with this cottage but use is at an additional cost.

We chose to use the hot tub which was fantastic but the cost of use may be prohibitive for others.

Absolutely amazing place. Stunning scenery and perfect location right in a vineyard. The wine tasting and tour of the traditional home were excellent. We loved using the barbecue and how peaceful it was. Bed was comfortable, and it had everything we needed. Matjaz and his family were so friendly and welcoming.

We had an unforgettable, relaxing stay at the Škatlar cottages (our group rented #2 and #3). The property itself is stunning, right in the middle of the vineyard, overlooking the mountains. The cottage is charming and had everything we needed for our stay. The private hot tub and sauna were an added bonus! Access to the wine cellar is down a small hill under one of the other cottages. The owner Matjaz was so friendly, he shared his knowledge & love of wine with us with a wine tasting on the day of our arrival. It was one of our favorite experiences and places we stayed in Slovenia. Highly recommend!!

Amazing property in the nature surrounded by peace. The cottage was really clean, the kitchen had all the necessary amenities for cooking proper meals and the sauna is amazing. Will come visit again for sure.
