The location is excellent—very close to Quinta Avenida (the main street in Playa del Carmen) and conveniently near the bus stop for transfers to and from the airport. Despite being so central, the area is quiet, making it easy to sleep well at night. The swimming pool is also very nice, with comfortable sunbeds to relax on. And the property is surrounded by trees Security is good as well—you feel safe thanks to the central location, with plenty of people around at all times. Always someone at the main door to check who go in and out.

As the property is surrounded by trees and has a swimming pool, there tend to be some mosquitoes in the late afternoon around the pool area (they are not present during the day). Sometimes also some mosquitoes into the room. The water pressure in the shower could be improved (at least in room 12). While it is still possible to shower, the water flow is quite weak. Additionally, it takes around 10 minutes for the water to become warm.

This place is just beautiful. The pool, the tropical plants, the room, the privacy, the location. Close to the beach, restaurants, nightclubs, scooter and car rental, grocery and shopping. Pool side bar and food are a great bonus and alternative to the beach. Staff is attentive. This is my second stay. First time it rained most of one of the days. We opted for the spa and rest. They have everything. Its perfect for a romantic getaway or a lowkey girls trip. a great value.

For some reason there was no hot water in the shower our first night but the issue had somehow resolved itself by the next day.

Really tranquil, gorgeous pool and comfy loungers

A few mosquitoes in the room and a cockroach in the morning, I understand it’s because of the location and the rooms open to the outside!
