Stylish maisonette in town centre close to beach

Beautiful, modern and comfortable apartment, very well equipped, fantastic location close to all amenities.

The location was excellent, very close to the centre town & not to far to got to the beach.

Didn't like the vacuum cleaner bring in the wardrobe & needs a couple of egg cups for the kitchen. Liked the complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, wash up liquid, washing machine tabs, salt & pepper, Etc.

Well presented spacious apartment in a great location, with good food options within 3mins walk. No issue with parking or access. Good Wi-Fi. Great to have things provided like washing up liquid /washing machine pods and even first aid kit.

The shower was the main problem the shower screen / door is incorrectly installed so getting in and out of the shower is very difficult. Particularly difficult when traveling with children, you can’t use the controls without getting fully into the shower which you have to enter sideways (gap is like 1ft wide) It could also do with a dish rack on the draining board.

A large spacious, clean, property over two floors. Kitchen had plenty of glassware, crockery and cutlery and probably enough cookware to prepare meals , if required. Beds were very firm, but to our liking. On site parking

Entrance is on the 1st floor and then the accommodation is on a further two floors. Each set of stairs only had one hand rail. A second handrail would have been beneficial on both sets of stairs, particularly the stairs within the maisonette which were steep and with two bends (elderly parents struggled with the stairs). Whilst the bathroom had a large walk-in shower(with non slip surface) a non slip shower mat and a hand rail, or two, would have provided more safety and security again for elderly parents. Lack of storage in bedrooms. Not a fan of the open shelving units. The lounge furniture may be modern but was not comfortable. The sofa did not provide support for shoulders, neck and head and the second chair (whilst it looked very “trendy”) was something I’d expect to sit in in a waiting room, it was not conducive to spending a relaxing evening in the accommodation. Overall the accommodation felt sparsely furnished (the furniture being too small for the elegantly large living area), meaning there was an empty warehouse feel and echo rather than a cosy homely feel. The dining chairs felt flimsy and again were not comfortable for anything other than a quick meal.
