"Spacious and clean - with under-floor music"

The flat was spacious, clean and uncluttered and matched all the photos.

It was very hard (in the dark) to find the entrance to the flat which is around the back of the shops ie in another street. The back yard where we parked was very messy and the car parking spaces narrow and on a slope so most drivers would find it 'challenging'! The width of an old Golf is probably the max which can squeeze in! The outdoor steps up to the flat entrance were dirty so not a good approach but the flat itself was very clean and tidy. Kitchen equipment is basic but all works. We could have done with some more utensils especially a steamer and a wooden spoon but maybe most guests eat out... Our only serious gripe was the under-floor music from the integrated speakers in the ceiling of the pub below from noon until 11pm. It was incredibly loud in the flat but barely audible in the pub itself (which was full of people but whose voices couldn't be heard at all in the flat). Prospective guests need to be aware that the music is very intrusive every evening and the pub staff won't turn it off - unfortunately they were too busy to come up to the flat to hear it for themselves!

"Clean, convenient apartment"

Really clean apartment, great central location. Loads of spare bedding and a heater, so the room was very cosy. Parking is tight but really convenient. Easy to get the key etc and management were very responsive.

Due to the central location and single glazing, it's very noisy at night so bring ear plugs. Had a fire alarm situation one night which was resolved quickly but having the right contact number would have been useful and saved the people downstairs from being woken up.

Excellent facilities. Centre of town with parking

Could be noisy from downstairs but not an issue for us. Make sure to get instructions to access the flat from the road at rear.

"Disappointing"

The lounge was a good size and the beds were comfortable..

The shower was dirty and had a build-up of black mould. We didn't know that the property would be accessed by fire escape steps at the rear. You could hear the music being played really loudly in the bar below. It could be made clearer that this would happen and we'd have known not to book. Many of the electric sockets were blown and didn't work. Because of this, there was no heating in one of the bedrooms. I contacted the owner through the messaging service and to ask what time the music would stop, but there was no response. The fire alarm went off on the second morning of our stay. This was an extrenely loud, wired in system. After evacuating the property, we contacted for assistance, but we are still waiting for a reply 36 hours later. In the end, we just locked up the property and left.
