Sunshine Cottage Tideswell, Games room included.

Super clean, cosy and comfortable.

There was nowhere to park in front of the cottage, we had to park a short walk away which wasn’t a problem for us, but may be a pain if you have small children and lots of bags.

Tideswell is a pretty, welcoming village with lots of amenities (pubs, chippy, bakery, co op etc). Very nice chatty locals. At least two children’s playgrounds and in the heart of the Peak District so it’s very convenient as a base to travel around

The cottage has been well-designed and decorated, is welcoming and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Also it was in a great location for us. Host was communicative with plenty of information about the cottage. The games room was great too.

Thoughtfully decorated for Christmas, had everything we needed for our stay. A very clean cottage with good facilities. Modern bathrooms with excellent showers. Beds and lounge room were comfortable. A great location for exploring the area.

Parking is advertised as 'free onsite parking' but this was not the case - it is out on the public road and we were never able to get a spot outside the cottage. This made packing and unpacking the car inconvenient as we had a lot of snow at the time of our stay. During our stay we were constantly needing to turn the heating up and extend the heating time as no logs were provided for the fireplace. Was disappointed to find several cracked and chipped plates in the cupboards.

The location was beautiful, the property was lovely . It had everything needed and made our stay wonderful ✨️

Wonderfully clean, beautifully renovated cottage with excellent facilities. Great communication from hosts. A perfect place to stay.

It was comfortable enough with the facilities available. Living room being a main part of that.

Having to supply our own logs for the fire (genuinely never had this before when booking a place with a fire), and the decor is getting quite worn (especially the kitchen dining area. The on street parking was okay, but being verbally abused for parking on a public highway is never too pleasant, although I can't hold it against the owner

Liked how well-equipped the property is. Everything was perfect and convenient and had clearly been planned to make life easy for visitors.
