Little Edge: Bright and Modern Central Apartment

Modern, comfortable interior, very clean and relaxed atmosphere. Loved the curtains! Good quiet location with view of the clock tower and pretty chimneys . Great rainfall shower, nice hand soaps. Well equipped kitchen and little utilityroom (although we didn’t use it) but would make a great place to stay for a longer holiday. Warm and cosy.

Steep stairs , but that’s just a consideration for mobility. Tea bag jar was empty and ground coffee out of date and stale, so don’t expect a brew when you arrive after your journey unless you’ve packed what you need yourself. There’s no local convenience store nearby so option to have a pint of milk/basic essentials left in the fridge would be handy, we ended up literally just using a base rather than enjoying time in the apartment itself.

No Freeview, live TV only available through wifi. Heating thermostat not clear and shower hot water erratic but manageable.

Location was good - in the town centre near shops, good restaurants and coffee shops. Also not far from the harbour area where one can take boat trips, or walk out to the lighthouse. Attractive stone buildings everywhere. Flat was quiet, warm and well equipped

Could have done with some more loo paper (only one roll), and also some more hand wash.

Comfortable, clean, furnished to a high standard, excellent location, lots of parking despite no dedicated space

Not having access to the 5 regular tv channels (at least my husband couldn't find them).

Location very good. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Very comfortable bed in main bedroom. Lovely shower. Extras like tea and coffee very welcome.

Television a bit fiddly. Hard to find terrestrial channels. Seating awkward for 3 adults. Settee very low & hard to get out of, especially if you’re of a certain age. Virtually impossible to find residents parking spaces available. Places around for parking with Northumberland parking disc, but you have to move car by 10 am.
