Bright Holiday Home in the countryside near Pisa

Original, typical Italian country house, much like I stayed in back in the late 1980s, but with WiFi.

Treacherous and unpleasant walk to train station on narrow road with no sidewalk. Should advise renters, because it's a small town so there's no convenient way to get to the property unless you drive there. No indication which unit it was… we arrived after dark because flight was delayed. Had to ask for confirmed access (lockbox code) same day. Unfriendly renter claimed she reserved the swimming pool and ordered my sister out, although nobody was using the area except her, and she was reading in a chair. Someone fixing a chain saw motor below our window. No water in room when we got there. Place was closed up and refrigerator wasn't cooled down so it took a couple days to get the temperature down in the room and fridge. No room information about local shopping, public transportation, or other typical helpful documents common to rentals.

Peace and quiet, big airy rooms, fully operational kitchen

TV didn’t work properly, no air conditioning

Many beds, it was comfortable

It was loud

Super location, 3 minutes from Express Road, still, on the country side. Large apartment, spacious rooms.
