No housekeeping offering and I asked if my bad could be kept for an hour or two after check out to check out the marathon as I ran the previous day and they don’t have the facilities to keep a bag? Especially when the event was right on the doorstep of the property, adjust to the events and times around you. Very weird Aparthotel etiquette

Beautiful rooms, clean, they look new or newly renovated. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds very comfortable, the host was very responsive and the property was very secure. I would stay here again.

A washing machine would have been nice.

Where do we start??? 1) Requested an early check in - reply was 'check in time is xxx' - zero customer care in the world. This is when you know your stay is gonna be awful! 2) The apartment is a mere 20m away from a 7 day industrial construction business where horrendously loud forklift operations start at 5am! Constant banging, loading of bricks and screaming/shouting all day! There's zero peace, zero possibility to have any quiet whatsoever and zero ability to sleep after 5am! As this was absolutely unbearable for a 9 night stay - a request to check out early was flatly ignored. 3) We stayed 9 nights and was told on check in that theres a cleaning service every 3rd day. We planned excursions for these days in order to be out of the apartment on these days. Well surprise surprise housekeeping did NOT pitch on day 3 with zero notice either. When asked why we were told they will come the next day (day 4). They did not pitch on day 4 but finally arrived on day 5! Did NOT remove towels or replace them after 5 days use! Zero amenities were replenished either for a 9 night stay? Also no towel racks to hang up wet towels and having to use the same towels for 6 days straight! Eventually begged and received towels after going to find some. Staff are horribly unfriendly and nobody really gives a damn here. After the 1 mediocre 'clean' we had no other cleaning service for 9 nights. Also, the filthiest carpet in the room probably never cleaned or vacuumed ever. 4) No clothing washing facilities. Tiny claustrophobic micro studio suited to an emergency 1 night stay only. Doors banging all day long all hours of the day & night which literally shake your room and wake you immediately. This was the absolute worse stay in Cape Town ever.
