L’appartamento è esattamente come appare nelle foto: curato, luminoso e arredato con gusto. Lo stile è moderno ed essenziale, ma allo stesso tempo accogliente. Si percepisce attenzione ai dettagli, sia nella scelta degli arredi che nella funzionalità degli spazi. La cucina è ben attrezzata, il letto comodo e il bagno ampio, anche se un po' incastrato nel sottotetto, con una doccia davvero confortevole. Anche la pulizia era impeccabile, un aspetto sempre importante quando si viaggia.

Essendo in pieno centro storico, non è possibile arrivare in auto fino all’ingresso. Il parcheggio più vicino è fuori dalle mura, a circa dieci minuti a piedi. Inoltre, la sera si possono avvertire alcuni rumori provenienti dalla strada o dai locali vicini, ma nulla che abbia compromesso il riposo. L'aria condizionata é presente ma raffredda veramente poco!

At the heart of the medieval city. Supermarket two minutes walk away.A handy apartment, fairly quiet apart from noisy gulls. Very amenable neighbours in other flats. Lovely garden in the enclosed quad. The city walls and top excellent for running; a circular route of 4+ kilometres. Enjoyed a trip to Montecatini Terme on the train.

Noisy gulls, creating a fuss from daybreak onwards. The temperature was usually high for June. Very hot and humid. Otherwise fine.

Brilliant studio - fully equipped, clean and comfortable. It has everything you need and is centrally located. I loved staying here.

This is a wonderful apartment , very peaceful and a great location.

It was spacious, clean and in a great location. It has a beautiful courtyard and all the neighbours were very friendly. Plus there was a lift.

Nothing to dislike.

Nice apartment with elevator in the middle of the beautiful old town of lovely Lucca.

The nearest parking Massini is about 12-15 minutes walk away. In the old town is complete parking ban (which is perfectly ok), but unfortunately you can not even after prior consultation with the host to unload luggage briefly stop at the apartment. Therefore, very inconvenient for travelers with a lot of luggage. The windows are extremely dirty. Should be cleaned urgently (but this is more an aesthetic defect that does not fit the overall design of the apartment). To note for is also the steep staircase without railing that leads to the bedroom and bathroom. Is rather not suitable for guests with walking problems or with small children and dogs. Communication with the host via phone and Whatsapp was somewhat difficult and unsatisfactory. As a solution to the problems on our arrival, I was offered the cancellation of the apartment, which I had not considered a solution due to the great circumstances on my birthday. Unfortunately, my request for a small reparation was not responded to. Very unfortunate, because even a bag of delicious cookies as an apology would have been more charming than repeatedly offering the cancellation of the booking.

Cosy and extraordinary, a lovely place in a lovely town! Extremely good location, lots of great and stylish details that make this apartment really special.

We didn't NOT like this, but maybe it's worth knowing that there are rather steeps steps with no railing from the kitchen / living area up to bed and bathroom. And the bathroom is not ideal for tall people (very low ceiling/ beam in a kind of attic) Adds to the character of this place, really cosy, but I wouldn't recommend it to taller or less mobile guests.
