Fantastic location within easy walk into Tavira. Extremely well equipped apartment with everything you need for your stay. Much larger than the pictures show, lots of space for 4 adults easily!

Casa Mergoux is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a quiet and comfortable stay in Tavira. The apartment is incredibly spacious, much larger than it appears in photos, and impeccably clean—truly a testament to the meticulous upkeep. The kitchen facilities were excellent, allowing to cook meals with ease. With amenities like a washing machine, and an espresso machine (a must for coffee lovers), the apartment is well-equipped for longer stays. Parking is convenient, with ample space both outside and in the basement, though we found the outdoor parking more than sufficient. César, our host, was exceptional—friendly, accommodating, and always available to assist when needed. His attentiveness added a personal touch that made our stay even better. The location is in a quiet and safe neighborhood, however, it’s worth noting that the apartment at first sight seems a bit far from the town center. But once you are familiar with the routes, you will find that you are within a 15-minute walk of an area with bars and a small supermarket and that the centre is a half-hour's walk away, partly through picturesque streets. Tavira itself is a tranquil and beautiful town that strikes a perfect balance between charm and accessibility. It’s an excellent base for exploring the Algarve, with popular destinations like Faro, Lagos, and Albufeira within driving distance. At the same time, it offers plenty of local attractions for days when you want to stay close to “home.” Overall, Casa Mergoux is a superb rental, ideal for families or couples looking for a spacious, clean, and well-equipped apartment in Tavira. Highly recommended for a relaxing Algarve getaway!

It's on the wrong side of a very busy road if you're looking to walk into the main Tavira Town

Apartamento bastante espaçoso, com todos os utensílios essenciais disponíveis. Localizado numa zona residencial calma.

Apesar de estar em condições, o alojamento poderia estar um pouco mais limpo. Apesar do alojamento se situar numa zona tranquila e segura, é um pouco distante do centro e do acesso à praia para uma deslocação a pé.
