Location is great. Lovely to have the trains pass at the bottom of the garden. 2 cars can fit on the driveway.

We recently stayed at this property for 4 nights, and while we were looking forward to our stay, there were several issues that impacted our experience. Firstly, the basics were lacking. Upon arrival, we found the cot we requested wasn't set up, which was inconvenient.The cleanliness of the property was a concern. The bedroom carpet was wet and dirty, and we discovered wet laundry, including all the tea towels, left in the washing machine, leaving us without essentials for the kitchen. The presence of a dehumidifier to counter a persistent damp smell, reminiscent of cats or dogs, was also not ideal.In terms of amenities, the property was missing a bread knife, and one of the dining table chairs was falling apart, which could be hazardous. The kitchen bin was broken, making it difficult to maintain cleanliness during our stay. Also, the toilet seat was broken, and the bathroom light worked only intermittently, adding to our discomfort.I feel compelled to share these details, not out of dissatisfaction alone, but in the hopes that this feedback will be constructive for the property owners.

Very clean. Nice welcome note. Plenty of information regarding where to eat. There was bread milk and butter for us which was a nice touch.

Smell of cat or dog in the living room.. I think it was recent but did not spoil our stay and would definitely book again

Lovely quiet location with ample parking even for a motorhome.Fully equipped in all areas and welcome greeting on arrival.

Couldn't find a handle for grill pan or tongues.
