Rawtenstall bungalow. Steam train passes garden.

Could not fault our stay. It was super clean, easy to find, instructions very clear and a welcome pack. We particularly liked the 100% cotton bedding, comfy beds and it was very quiet. We were there for the East Lancs Railway Diesel Gala and the garden was prime position to watch the trains. Easy walk down into Rawtenstall. We didn't manage any of the local walks but would love to come back for longer.

Super Clean , very warm feeling from the moment of booking until end of stay.

Nothing that we don't like.

Spacious bungalow for the 4 of us plus our 2 dogs. Nice garden, no houses at the back of the property, and a nice view over the fields and hills. Close to Rawtenstall centre and nearby a great pub. Sofa throw provided for the dogs. Dog walks on the door step. Communication with owner before arrival was easy, instructions to get into property were clear. Nice touch to leave some bread, butter and milk for us. Bungalow had everything we needed.

Minor things: could do with a bit more hanging storage for clothes, some of the storage (e.g. cupboards in kitchen) is used for owners' own belongings, step from kitchen back door into garden is quite high so wasn't ideal for my parents who are in their 70s.

Everything.

Only bad thing was the cinder block as a back door step.
