The Hayloft. Entire Barn Conversion near Keswick

A lovely little place which was much bigger than it looked in the pictures, the facilities were excellent you have everything you need, the views were fantastic, would definitely stay here again.

Nothing loved everything....

Everything was more than expected.

Beautiful property just perfect for two! Everything you could possibly want was provided, extremely comfortable bed , wonderful location, great hosts and friendly chickens. We also loved the amazing walks straight from the door and being so close to Keswick and Derwent Water.

The place is actually more spacious than it appears in the photos. The kitchen is especially large and well designed and stocked with all kinds of utensils and modern appliances and a very good dishwasher too. Overall the whole place is well maintained and lots of attention has been given to details around the house in terms of facilities, convenience, and amenities. The sitting room is cozy and comfortable, on some rainy days we didn't mind just spending all our time indoors. The view from the barn, oh, it's just amazing, there's some farmland and in the distance are some fells. The clouds appear different every day and create wonderful and dynamic scenes over the area. We spent quite some time staring out the front door just watching the clouds go past over the hills. Truly felt like we were away from it all. The location is really good too, it's just near Keswick, so you don't have to be in the busy part (and Keswick does get busy), and it's an easy few minutes to Lake District attractions including cat bells, derwent, newlands pass area. We got really good instructions for how to find the place and it is very obviously seen in Google streetview.

Fabulous location and great amenities. The property was larger than expected. Good directions and easy check in.

The bedroom was cold, a warmer duvet would have made it much more comfortable.

Super cosy, clean and well decorated. Proper homely feel about the place, and an amazing view to wake up to every day. Also the chickens were cute, even though we came close to running them over a couple of times when they didn’t move for the car! One of us just got out to corral them out the way. The place had everything we needed for a week.

The Hayloft was such an amazing place to stay! We were only there a couple of nights but could have stayed much longer. The highlight was being able to eat dinner out in the garden and watch the sun go down behind the mountains.

Beautifully decorated cottage catering for all your needs. location is magical and picturesque. Couldn’t ask for more. The hosts left a lovely welcome package on our arrival and their gorgeous chickens that kept us company during our stay gave us delicious eggs for our breakfast of a morning. It was the best of both worlds you could just have a relaxing or an active break and only a short drive away from Keswick town with lovely pubs, restaurants and shops to visit.
