"noisy stay due to inept boiler in a nice clean apartment"

Close to amenities, clean apartment

The loud noise that occured each time someone turned on the water or flushed the toilet. Especially during the dead hours of the night it woke us up. So needless to say did not sleep well.

"Convenient, spacious apartment on Ballycastle front"

Nice & spacious. Clean and well kept. Very useful communication via email/PDF from host beforehand explaining access etc. Excellent location. Plenty of free, private parking. Appreciated 'welcome gift' left on table. (Not a criticism just a thought so I will leave here - there were some pleasant pictures on the ample wall space, but as this is a holiday let it might be nice to use some of the local area. Photos, artwork - old maps, tourist posters, railway poster etc. There must be lots. Just a thought to add local colour for the visitor :-) ) Thanks.

Shower was not good. Patio doors did not lock properly; not so much a security issue, but might be draughty if weather was cooler/windier.

Location was great. The apartment was more than adequate for our needs.

The property was not cleaned to a reasonable level. Balcony doors were almost impossible to open without exerting force and the outside chairs were very unsteady. The shower was inadequate. A few days before our booking date our daughter fell ill and we asked the owners was it possible to cancel or reschedule on compassionate grounds. We would have appreciated that, even though it had a no cancellation stipulation. They failed to respond, and after several calls and emails the rest of our party carried on. We were able to visit for the second evening.

"Lovely property in a very pretty setting."

Lovely location, well kitted out, very clever instructions and comfortable furnitures

Despite setting the boost an hour earlier and ensuring mains were on, we couldn’t get hot water in the kitchen on any of our days. Boiled kettle to wash dishes.
