Bewick House Large three bedroom Sleeps upto six

A few steps from a gorgeous beach, this home was the perfect place to stay for the Easter weekend. The town had loads of amenities and the beach with a sauna made it extra special. The livingroom had a huge sofa, big enough for all of the family and the kitchen was great for cooking up a feast.

Nothing, it ticked all of our boxes and more!

The apartment was perfectly situated for our walks on Newbiggin beach. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided and the bedding and towels were good quality. We would highly recommend this property.

The duvets on the single beds could have been of a higher tog rating as the nights are getting a bit cold in October.

Parking was a bit tight.

Stayed for 5 days at Bewick House with my granddaughter and husband. The accomodation is very spacious and very well equipped. Bedding lovely and lots of fluffy towels available. We ate in during our stay and the cooking facilities are excellent. There are numerous board games to play which came in handy on a misty morning. The location is great and the folks in Newbiggin are super friendly! Ordered a delicious Chinese meal from China Food takeaway on one night, and had a fabulous lunch at the Queen's Head, which is close to Church Point.

Very close to the beach and a short walk to the shops, cafes and local attractions. The house is spacious, clean with bedding and towels provided. We could see the sea and "Couple" statue from the window.

Unfortunately there is no outside space, which would have been useful to air clothes. The stairs up from the front door were steep and the spiral staircase up to the 2nd floor is very narrow, not a problem for able bodied people, but not ideal for everyone. An airer for damp towels would have been useful.

Good location, close to the sea front and a short walk into the town with shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Good size bedrooms and well equipped (although only there 2 nights so barely used much).

We hadn’t realised it was a first floor flat - our fault as hadn’t read the info properly! We knew it said apartment….. but it’s called Bewick ‘house’…. Our own fault as we could have asked if we’d suspected….. :( Immediately upon opening the door on the side of the building you are greeted with a steep staircase. The internal open framed narrow spiral stairs to the loft room were also not good given we were with a 2 and 4 year old. No safety gates so quite stressful….. Again, not ideal but we accept it was our fault for not taking more notice! Nothing in the other comments led us to realise which is why I’m commenting here.
