Modern Oasis in Rökk Street by NW Apartments

Loved the decor of the apartment. Had pretty much everything I needed. Felt like a home away from home. Great for short stay or even much longer.

There is a little smell that comes from the water pipes in bathroom. Don’t think there is much the owners can do about it. Also, some body wash and shampoo in shower would be great but overall very little things… The apartment was great. 😊

Problem with unpleasant smell from sewage pipes in the bathroom. The cleaning service did not ensure thorough cleanliness of the dishes. These small complaints do not detract from this beautiful apartment, but it would be great if it could be fixed.

It was a great central location and very convenient to get to from the airport.

There are a number of things that need to be improved upon for a more comfortable stay at this property: 1. It is very easy to fall on the stairs. I feel a handrail can be put there to make them less dangerous 2. The upper mezzanine is too low for someone taller than 160cm / 5’3”. It is easy to bang your head on the ceiling when in the bedroom and when going downstairs (this happened). This makes the stairs even more dangerous 3. The two reading lights in the bedroom were not working, so no small light to aid when getting up during the night. This makes the stairs even more dangerous to navigate 4. The shower cannot be closed, therefore water goes everywhere. We had to use a mop for the floor as the bathroom was flooded every time 5. The bottom of the shower has sharp edges. My boyfriend cut his foot quite badly on this 6. The toilet seat is not fixed properly 7. Although the water pressure and temperature was very good, the pipes have been plumbed incorrectly. When turning the tap setting to cold, boiling water comes out. When turning the setting to hot, it is cold water 8. The tap in the shower becomes boiling hot to touch so you burn yourself on this 9. The cupboard closing magnets did not function well, so some of them were always open 10. The bins provided were not labeled so we were not sure what to put in which bin 11. Small things - I was told that there would be hand soap provided and there was not. Only one towel each was provided for the whole week I did reach out to the owner to highlight these issues and ask for a partial refund as it affected our enjoyment of the stay. The partial refund was not granted but I was told they would fix the issues for future guests. Booking.com has given a small voucher to the value of 25eur as a way of compensation.

Good position, air conditioning, comfortable bed, nice furniture.

The bathroom is actually small, and one piece of the door of the shower was missing, so the floor was always wet. The entrance to the apartments was so hot because of the air conditioning external machine that wasn’t actually put outside but on the ceiling: not so sure about the safety of that. I had difficult in seeing the information shared from the structure through Booking as each mentioned link wasn’t visibile. I world prefer a direct chat in whatsapp. An additional towel (the face one) for each guest would have been good.

The appartement is really great and very comfortable. It is located in a quiet street near tramway. There are some good cafes around and the neighborhood has never been a problem.

The appartement lack a washing machine but it is the only thing that has been a « trouble » for me.
