'Ripponlea' Inistioge, stunning countryside home

The view.

The house was filthy, there was mould in the fridge, faeces in the toilet, hairs in the sink and hairs stuck to the shower tray and walls. The pantry was crawling with ants. There was dust and dead flies everywhere. The dishwasher had rotten food lying in the tray. Floors were unwashed and sticky and carpets were unhoovered with leftover crumbs and food. Kitchen units were covered in dirt not to mention the dust inside. Old towels and a cold shower just put the lid on this place. It needs to be taken off Social Media and be completely deep cleaned. We pointed out all the above to the owners niece when she arrived who apologised profusely and said she would sort it and we never heard from her again. We had photo evidence of everything and passed them on to the owners friend and have heard nothing. How they can put this up for rent assuming it is acceptable is just incredulous. Stay away...

we were attending the Borris festival - the distance to Borris was just that big far (not the house's fault!)

We loved the setting. The house was very comfortable and clean. The little village was charming and the people were friendly. It was so convenient to get to places of interest and to Kilkenny.

We liked everything.

The Ripponlea cottage is a dreamy place for a getaway. The location provides a stunning view and a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Each room contains details that make the place feel warm and welcoming. It truly is a home away from home.

Everything was perfect!
