Terraced house with stunning view close to Mdina

Very large property in an excellent location. There is an en-suite in double bedroom. The roof terrace looks over to Mdina and the sunsets are beautiful. Our host was wonderful. She came to our rescue when we inadvertently locked ourselves out and gave us information about the local area and events. Location was ideal for bus stop, Rabat & Mdina. We easily caught bus to Valletta. We were so happy we chose to stay here.

Property a little tired/old fashioned. Large mugs, glassware and more cooking utensils would be useful in kitchen. Drawers and long mirror in bedroom would also be good. We were ok but there are a lot of stairs.

A great wee house at an ideal location, also loved the roof top terrace. Absolute stunning view up there. The communication between the hosts was great too. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a bit of difficulty getting the downstairs shower hot, but the hosts did say that they'll sort that.

This isnt a house, it is 7 flights of stairs with the landings made to look like living space. The front door, directly at the bottom of these steep, narrow stairs, opens directly into the oncoming traffic of the busiest main road in Rabat. The photos and the owner are very dishonest.

The traffic noise is constant, amplified for 24 hours, by the fake marble stairwell. It is impossible to sleep. The place was filthy, the kitchen is so disgustingly filthy that we didnt even dare make coffee in it. There is nowhere to sit comfortably, the facilities and decor havent been updated since the early 1980s. It is appalling. Beware - the photos are very very misleading. The owner tried to scam us out of more money before we even arrived. We didnt get what we paid for. The noise, filth and general uneasy feeling of being scammed meant that we left halfway through the stay we had paid for. The views are ‘stunning’ only if you’ve lived your whole life in Josef Fritzl’s cellar and love views of war torn Gaza. Dont be conned by this misleading listing - there are more than a few fake reviews and photos of rooms that dont even exist.

Easy entry, good communication from the host. Make sure you got all the way up to the roof (accessed through one of the balconies) as the view is incredible.

It is a wonderful place to stay, the house is lovely, made us feel a part of Malta. Very clear entry instructions. Wonderful views, especially at night and the location basically in the hub of Rabat, very easy walk to M'dina and all the Rabat attractions.

Fantastic price and location. We were very happy. The photos don’t do the property justice. We were very impressed with the house size and especially with the terrace that is much bigger than shown. Good air con and facilities. Home from a great trip in Malta very happy with our time in this house.

No real negatives, especially for the excellent price.
