Modern flat near train station with free parking

Noise from the flat above - every footstep, conversation, door opening and closing which really disturbed sleep

The flat was easy to find, super clean and very comfortable. The heating warmed up the living room quickly and the kitchen was well appointed with plenty of tea and coffee available. The double bed was very comfortable and the large room had plenty of space for bags, etc. There was a late night food van parked a little way down the road which was a godsend after we got back after a gig!

It looks like there are 2 parking spaces available right in front of the property when in fact there is only 1 (the other belongs to the neighbour), so I had to park on the other side of the road (it's quite busy) and leave the space for my wife. This is not clear in the details and I only found out on the morning of our arrival day in an email via Booking.com. The separate shower room and toilet are quite small and for a bigger guy such as myself I found both rooms quite cramped. The property is in a housing estate which doesn't look so great when you arrive (am I being snobby?!) but there were no issues even when we walked back late at night.

Everything was lovely! The flat was clean and beautiful and well laid out. Smelled lovely and had everything we needed. It was warm and cosy, had lovely soaps, towels etc and the free Netflix was great too. It was also easy to get to and easily entered with the clear instructions and the hosts were easy to contact and helpful too. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The flat is great for a couple, 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children but the sofabed was a little small for 2 adults so we were glad of the extra mattress which we used as well.

Everything we needed in a great location. Driveway parking and dog friendly.

The flat is clean and comfortable, nice and warm and had a nice touch with the coffee machine. Parking space was necessary for us and the other side of the street can be used for parking after checkout.

Road works in the area made arriving on a Friday evening very difficult. Next time I will arrive earlier or later than 6pm. My fault really!

Super clean, good facilities in the kitchen, well located for the railway station. Enclosed small garden.

The flat would benefit from better sound insulation between the ground and first floor.
