Riverfront Retreat Hot Tub Sauna Yard Gazebo and VIEWS

We're a family from Australia and were looking for a cabin somewhere in the US near a river or lake. Out of thousands of cabins this one caught our eyes. And oh boy, did that tick all the boxes and beyond. Location is absolutely stunning. We were there in Oct 2025 and experienced sunny days and rainy but both make this place so enjoyable. The cabin itself had everything we required. It is well designed and had a lovely decor. Kitchen has all the necessary dishes, pots and pans. There was even a coffee left for us which was a lovely touch and also a water filter jug in the fridge which is highly appreciated as we always travel with a portable water filter bottle. My family really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, and one night we also sat around the fire place. It's so peaceful and relaxing there which was exactly what we needed during our travels. Beds were so comfy and everyone had the best sleep. My kids said they slept like on a cloud. There are many hiking spots in the area or you can just enjoy a leisurely walk around. So many beautiful scenic vistas. Thanks to Nate and his family for sharing this gorgeous place in such a beautiful corner of the world. We really appreciated it and we renewed our energy for our next travels.

Comfy, remote property in Gold Bar. Felt safe in the secure, gated community.

The cleaner was there until 4pm even tho our check in time was 3pm.

Right on the river! The view of the mountains was amazing. I also loved the sauna and hot tub! There was a neighbor selling fresh eggs.

The oven didn’t work consistently

This retreat was better than we could have hoped for. Thankfully we had a rain-free day so we could take advantage of the hot tub, sauna and fire pit. Even with rain the next days, the views were breathtaking and the sound of the river left us feeling peaceful and relaxed.

This location is truly magical! It has incredible views of the mountains and river. Very peaceful and relaxing location. The house is also very nice. We had all of the kitchen tools we needed to cook great meals!

Honestly, nothing could have been better. The hosts made the whole process easy, the house was amazing, and the location is perfect for a peaceful getaway. We already recommended the property to a friend and they booked it!

Stunning views of the mountains right by a beautiful river. Star gazing from the hot tub after a long day on the slopes. Felt cozy but clean, private and safe. Small rooms but comfortable beds and kitchen was very well appointed with new appliances and everything needed to cook. Accomodations was recently renovated and had everything we needed for a 4 day ski trip. Responsive host.

Would have loved more hooks to hang towels to dry in the bathroom and ski gear. It would be nice to have access to the washer and dryer for a longer stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible riverfront property, and it was an experience to remember. The location is simply breathtaking, offering a perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty. I was enjoying a peaceful afternoon reading by the river and they provided Nespresso machine to enjoy a good cup of coffee by the river in the morning while listening to the river sound. The property also offered various outdoor amenities, including a hot tub and comfortable seating areas in a gazebo by the river! Raining? Snowing? No problem! , this place perfect for unwinding. The host was very responsive and very accommodating
