GBGBSauna ok, weather turned so only got to stay one night as had to get up to north Scotland.And didn't want to get caught on A9 ,but did what we wanted to .Host was helpful Thanks Alex

GBWell organise, value for the money, everything needed is available. It's home away from home.
We were given ticket for not using the parking permit. You didn't mention there was a parking permit in the sitting room. Guest might be tired and not have the time to read on arrival. I noticed the permit when I woke up this morning.
GBHot tub and sauna was brill, we loved the massage chair very relaxing, rooms were very cute and cosy

GBLovely clean comfortable house with lots of facilities available. Parking outside on narrow street and permit supplied in property. Quiet residential area with bus stop at end of road which takes you to nearby sunderland or further afield. Bus drivers helpful and friendly. Metro stop within walking distance to take you to Newcastle. Large tesco within 15 min walk and Aldi 10 min walk in opposite direction. This house has plenty of space for groups of friends or larger families. High chair & travel cot available and dog friendly. There is a vast selection of board/card games in the lounge which we really enjoyed using. Sauna & hot tub/lazy spa a welcome addition. BBQ & firepit in outside area but will need to bring your own firelighters/charcoal. Short walk to stadium of light if travel for football or event. Great pubs within walking distance or short car/taxi ride. Welcome pack of treats was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend this place as a base to explore the area.
Lazy spa takes a while to fill and then a number of hours to heat up, clearer instructions on this would be helpful (although Google helped us) tv is not the easiest to navigate. Thermostat to control heating (if u don't have one at home) needs user instructions.
