Entire House King Bed near Downtown Free Parking

Excellent location, in a decent neighborhood, easy parking, and easy access was provided with a door code.

Nothing about my stay was objectionable.

- Not as clean as advertised, mainly the bed sheets. My partner and I found other people’s hairs on them when we were checking the place out. I also felt crumbs under the sheets. - There’s a smell throughout the apartment. It’s not bad and didn’t really bother us, but might bother others.

There was no breakfast, so n/a. Didn't meet anyone personally, only email. Entry was by keypad code. Two level apartment, bedroom and bath upstairs. New renovations but not entirely finished. New kitchen, fridge and stove. Bed comfortable, bathroom spacious and new, clean. Decent location but we were switched to this unit at the last minute due to water leakage from recent snow at the original location which was closer to our destination. This one was described as better. Location is a little funky, very narrow alleyway like street might not be to everyone's comfort level. GPS had a little trouble locating it. Keypad entry lock worked fine. Free parking spots on street were easy to find but if there was a snowstorm would be difficult as few places to put snow. Heat worked well. Bathroom new and clean.

No linens for futon. Futon had big dirty stain on it. New kitchen table and bed table had dirty spots where someone had put a dripping glass or something on them. Stove top had greasy smears on it. Three odd pieces of cookware in a cabinet were filthy with food stuck over one. There are no hooks or hangers anywhere to hang coats or clothes. A rug inside the door would have been nice to wipe wet and snowy shoes on and leave them by the door. Towel racks or hooks behind the bathroom door would be useful. We figured it out but labels for the heat vs air conditioning would be useful. New paint job was amateurish, paint on light fixtures, sloppy edges. Hot water is from a tankless heater. There wasn't enough flow at the bathroom sink for the heat to kick in even after running for quite a while. Worked at kitchen sink and in shower. Work around for the bathroom sink is to run the shower first until water got hot. Carpentry renovations seemed unfinished.

The location is great. It is walkable to the downtown and stadiums. Because of the free parking around the house block, I was able to just park my car here and then walk to the downtown. The neighborhood seems safe and I had no problem walking at night alone to come back to the house. This is a huge life saver when you think about the headache of parking in the downtown area! The house has one bedroom and separate living room in addition to a full kitchen. The house is clean and bed is comfy king size. Given that its price is less than $100, I highly recommend this place. It is like an excellent deal!

It is a rowhouse with some narrow alley. But I know old cities like Baltimore has houses like this, which is interesting.
