It should have been more clear about it being no view of the beach from the unit and the unit wasn’t cleaned well. Upon walking in the unit, we all took our shoes off. However, the floor made our feet dirty. So, I had to re-clean the floors. Also, the inside of the building leading into the unit was disgustingly dirty. Some of the white sheets for the bedding were stained. I had to take them to the laundry mat and clean them myself. Some of the dishes in the pantry had dried up food on them. I had to re-wash them prior to eating. Also, the small A/C units didn’t keep the unit cool enough during our stay. The vacuum cleaner didn’t work. So, we had to do a lot of sweeping. The host replied quickly to my inquiries. She approved for me to access the closet to find the mop, to wash the towels etc. however, I would have thought I would have been accommodated better. For example, apparently if I’m asking for a mop so soon, the unit is dirty and a better maid needs to come to re-clean. To many things were adding up we just left early. Sadly, we weren’t even financially accommodated not even for one day. Thankfully the host was upfront about the parking being difficult to find after certain hours. I was able to time activities accordingly.

It’s very cute on the inside and well equipped for most your basic needs. Beds were comfortable and it did have 2 portable A/C units

The parking was difficult and was a long walk to carry all of your things. I think biggest con was that The water was so far away from the property….There is a TON of sand to walk through and a very very steep staircase to get down to the beach level.

Good location, big enough All the things where well thought out From coffee to shampoo or extras in the bathroom it made you feel welcome Also they responded fast to messages

I hesitate to use the door to the beach to go out and come back That might be only me not the property the lock seem difficult to manage

Perfect location for race weekend-close proximity to track and food. Comfortable bed and couch. Excellent accommodation s!

Neighbors had noisy dogs. Projector in the bedroom took a while to figure out how to operate; maybe include some instructions. Also, it was hard to view during the day because of the brightness in the room. But the good outweighs the inconvenient by a lot!

No ocean view, but location backed to the sand, Had to go down a very steep set of about 40 steps to get to it though. My sister has a bad hip and knee and couldn't do the stairs. Plus the unit is on a 2nd floor, so more steps inside. I think that should be disclosed in their description.

The smell was awful! I've stayed at properties on the beach before, but none smelled like this one. It was very musty. The linens/towels even smelled bad. The residents in a lower unit had 4 little dogs that barked a lot! Their owners would take them outside to the common area and let them pee on the sidewalk and just left it. I believe there was 4 or 5 units to a building and the inside common area was filthy. Had to wear shoes inside the unit because the floors were so dirty and sticky. The broom closet had a damp mop in it and it smelled like something was rotting in there. There was left over food in the fridge, including old French fries. The exhaust fans hadn't been cleaned in a very long time and the oven was gross inside. The light fixtures had cob webs. It looks like a low budget flip in a really old building. The outlet in the bathroom, right by the sink, was not covered. The light switch in the bedroom wasn't covered either. There was a few semi-live plants in the unit and they had little, black gnats flying around them. Lastly, there is NO parking. The whole area is multi-unit properties on a busy street. Just plan on parking blocks away and walking, but I wouldn't walk alone at night. The unit is close to downtown and didn't feel safe for 3 women. Just a few blocks away, people are sleeping on the sidewalk and lots of tents. We left on a Friday, which must be trash collection day. When we took our trash out, within minutes, people were going through it and taking our left over food.

Inside is a comfortable quarters

There is no parking, you have to find parking on the street, the area is very busy, is a real challenge to find parking, if you are with family is not ideal.

Excellent communication with our host! Comfortable accommodations! Location is near the beach, food, and tons of attractions!
