Downtown Duplex w/ Amazing Terrace by LovelyStay

Location was excellent. Spoiled for choice of bars and restaurants. Apartment at first glance was good. Decently equipped kitchen. When early issues were identified rental management staff were quick to respond. Nice terrace.... but covered pergola and cushions in a very poor state. Currently overlooking a building site including 50 foot crane.

On arrival we discovered the following:- Both bathroom sinks were blocked, the downstairs bathroom light switch did not work, bedside light did not work, bathroom light hanging off the wall, and there were only 4 clothes hangers in the wardrobe. ( All of the above issues were resolved late the following day but each of these could have been avoided with proper cleaning and routine maintenance.) The terrace pergola and seating area was unusable due to stained and torn cushions. Our stay was for 7 days but we were only provided with one bath towel and hand towel per person for that period. Likewise no cleaning materials nor cloths were provided to allow us to keep the shower, sinks and toilets in an ongoing hygienic state. All of this was disappointing because the apartment had so much to offer. With a bit more thought, care and attention. it would be a very good Porto city centre choice. I did leave all of these comments in a provided complaints book so I hope to hear back from the owners/rental management company in due course.

Hej kundeservice Jeg vil gerne sende jer en klage over vores overnatnings lejlighed Vi tjekkede ind mandag den 28 august. Her var/ er møjbeskidt og meget slidt - sender jer billeder med Terrasse døren kan ikke låses (har givet dem besked herom) så den står åben dag og om natten når vi er her - meget utrykt Der var ikke gjort rent på terrassen - ikke tørret bord el stole af. Fyldt med mågeklatter - meget ulækkert. Se billeder !! Det er lagt to toilet ruller og to håndklæder til bad så der mangler håndklæde til mit hår !! Stedet er utroligt SLIDT - passer ikke til prisen !! Der er ingen hynder til solvogne og de er i stykker !!! Das Appartement ist sehr großzügig über 2 Ebenen angelegt und gut ausgestattet mit einer Kochzeile, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine. Es gibt 2 Bäder. Das Bett ist zwar schmal, aber bequem. Es ist auf jeder Ebene eine Klimaanlage vorhanden.

Eigentlich haben wir das Appartement hauptsächlich gebucht, weil uns die Terrasse so angesprochen hat. Leider ist diese aber total runtergekommen. Die Polster der Sitzecke sind so schmutzig, da möchte man sich nicht neben drauf setzen. Der Holzboden ist unschön und z. T. sind die Planken locker. Zusätzlich ist der Hinterhof auf den die Terrasse rausgeht von Möwen bevölkert.“, die überall ihren Dreck hinterlassen und man hat auch den Lärm aller Klimaanlagen und noch zusätzlich den Baustelle der nahegelegenen Baustelle. Somit war die Terrasse für uns nicht nutzbar. Ein Rollo am großen Fenster ist scheinbar schon länger kaputt, denn es hängt ein laminiertes Schild mit dem Hinweis darauf.

Close to restaurants , it’s up the hill from the riverfront , nice to be able to sit outside and dry washing. Excellent washing machine. Very good instructions for getting in to the apartment . Good air cons. 2 bathrooms .

View is over restaurant roof tops with loud air cons . There are stairs which didn’t bother us , but if less mobile with heavy bags it would be something to consider.

Perfect Location and every though you are in the middle of a busy part of Porto it is very quiet. The Apartment is ideal for a couple. The outside area is lovely and spacious. Would recommend a visit.

Nothing really only tiny thing is that the towels could have been a better quality and maybe a mat needed for the floor when it rains.

Location, Equipments, Contact, Silence despite busy neighborhood. It was very nice stay. I’m very careful with my choices, but this apartment I can definitely recommend. There is heating so no worries about stays during winter months. It was a cozy stay.

Love the deck area.

They forgot to leave washer detergent, coffee , no extra toilet paper and towels not left in 2nd bath/shower.
