Cactus apartment FREE parking for a standard car

It's perfectly located for walking to Ljubljana's main attractions. The accommodation is exactly as shown in the photo. And although it was a very hot day, the air conditioner was turned on when we arrived, so we were able to rest very comfortably.

Cactus Apartment is in easy walking distance to the heart of the city. It was clean and slept 5 comfortably.

Location was amazing. And that’s about it.

Main bed was saggy and uncomfortable. Bunk bed has exposed screws on underside so my kids didn’t feel safe sleeping on bottom. It also seemed flimsy so I didn’t want them on top as it moved a lot with any small motion. Bathroom tiny. Lots of ants. Ac in hall and doesn’t cool main bedroom. Not enough pillows. Overall disappointing. With what we paid we could have booked two nice hotel rooms. We just finished a multi-city tour where we rented multiple apts in neighboring cities and this was by far the worst. Not sure how it has such great reviews. Even my young child expressed disappointment. Would not stay here again.

My wife absolutely loved the design of the apartment. The choice of furniture, the lamps, the decorations. It's great and really nicely done. There are also a lot of tiny details that are really thought out, from clear instructions for tv or window blinds for example to emergency tampons in the bathroom etc. The people responsible for the apartment clearly travelled and thought of everything. Also bonus points for enough tea and coffee to last for several days and for adding a proper moka pot. Large fridge btw and generally all appliances (even dishwasher and tumble dryer) you can wish for. Great bedroom for the kids. It's also super central and quiet at the same time (you can easily walk to the castle, to the pedestrian zone etc. There is a really nice Neapolitan Pizza place called Verace which is in walking distance). What a find!

There's parking but just be aware that there's a rather narrow passage you have to drive through to get there. The courtyard is a bit small for maneuvering. Our car (a Dacia Jogger) fit just fine though. No biggie but maybe more chill to just park once and then to leave your car for your stay in Ljubljana (you don't really need it anyhow). We also didn't meet our hosts and only communicated by app, that might be a bit impersonal to some and preferred by others :)
