Characterful 2 bed cottage in excellent location

The hosts in the lead up to our stay were engaged and extremely helpful with recommendations for local dinners out. The cottage itself exceeding expectations. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Great location. Understood dog owners. Pedestrian access to Chatsworth park is 5 minutes away straight out of the front door.

Stairs to first floor are very steep but manageable. No garden space (preferred as a dog owner) but green just round corner makes it manageable.

The cottage was cozy and homely. A really well laid out space, great kitchen, loved the living room with fire. There were loads of lovely extra touches that made the perfect space.

Cosy and homely feel to cottage, well equipped, log burner was a bonus for a winter stay. Hosts were good communicators before, during and after stay. Host provided plenty of information on local area and the set of cards for nearby walks was appreciated. lovely location next to river, very quiet. The Devonshire Arms is next door and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this cottage as a base for discovering the beautiful Peak District.

Beautiful cottage, extremely clean, comfortable and quaint

This cottage is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed our stay so much. It's so gorgeous inside and out and the host thought of everything. So much room and we couldn't stop talking about how stunning it was. Host was amazing and very communicative. The price paid was absolutely 100% worth it. Thank you so much for an amazing stay.
