Large converted barn in peaceful, rural location

The property was extremely spacious, and it was a great place for a family get together. Matt the host was very helpful, a d available to answer questions whenever we needed. We had a lovely visit.

Property was truly magical, could not fault the property or facilities. Such a great place to escape to and forget about the rat race.

I loved the property and would love to get back asap.

The barn was beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you could require for a family or a group vacation. Located on farmland in gorgeous countryside, it is perfect for those seeking a get-away from it all experience, but also for those who may be attending events in Blackpool. We were there for Radio 2 in the Park in Preston. Had a rainy day on Sunday, and was able to keep everyone entertained and fed, with full cooking facilities, pool table and a plethora of books and video games. Matt (the host) was lovely and checked in to see that we had everything we needed. Being only one hour from the Lake District, we spent Monday visiting Windermere and had a beautiful walk in Ambleside. There is a friendly farm dog called Simba, who visits your doorstep with a beloved toy, to play with him, but is also quite shy and knows his place. They also have a hedgehog rescue cabin, an orchard and a pond in the grounds. The nearest village is a 5 minute drive and the nearest town is 15 minutes away. a Cannot complain about anything. Was absolutely perfect and would return in a heartbeat

Nothing really! If I had to say anything at all, it would be keep the outside light off, as it is a bug magnet (to be expected on a farm) and as a constructive observation; a plug socket next to one of the mirrors would have been useful.

Truly wonderful barn conversion completed to a high standard throughout. Everything you could think of to hand, the host was very accommodating and kept in regular contact throughout the booking process and throughout stay. Will definitely be returning!
