After realizing we will stay at a private house and not a hotel, our stay was awesome! The house and everything is new and we loved to sit in the big comfy kitchen-living room, had some food, hot tea and felt home. Maryanne is a wonderful host and helping with everything! She even made us a yummy breakfast! AMAZING

It was super clean and very new. Host was very nice.

This is not a place for people and couples who just want some privacy. You are staying in someone's home with them in it. You are assigned a bathroom in the house. Ours was supposed to be downstairs and our room was upstairs. The bedroom we saw was clean and all but if you want to chill and be alone then only place to sit is the bed. Otherwise, you have the common area living room to be shared with whomever is there. I wish the description were a little clearer. This is taken from the description: "The units come with carpeted floor and feature a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a dining area, a TV with streaming services, and a private bathroom with shower and a hair dryer. An oven and coffee machine are also featured." This sounded to me like I was getting an apartment or a cottage something more private than just a tiny room in a house. My spouse felt so uncomfortable there that we left only twenty minutes after arriving. I did ask for a partial refund but she did not want to give us one.

Marianne is an exceptional host, making my stay at her beautiful home truly unforgettable. She welcomed me with warmth and genuine hospitality, making me feel right at home. Her attention to detail is evident throughout the house, with tasteful decor and immaculate cleanliness.

extremely tasteful decoration, the Landlady was very warm-hearted and provided us delicious breakfast and dinner without extra charging. the location in Palmer is such a secret wonderful place for hiking and visiting animal farms and musuems.

This property is exceptional in every way any kind of traveler requires, from short to long visits, families or couples. My first impromptu visit to The Great White North brought me to this place on the fourth night after staying in two very different last minute hotels. I spent a night at the Holiday Inn Express and two nights in the wonderful Anchorage Embassy Suites Deluxe King Two-Room, listing at $551 a night (it was a lot less online of course). It was a great Alaskan experience right in Anchorage with wonderful facilities and service. It doesn’t hold a candle to the value and experience at this property. It is very underpriced right now.

Nothing. It has been the best value in Alaska for me. Wasilla is a better base camp for exploration than Anchorage for my needs. If you just have to go back to Anchorage, a beautiful 53-minute drive is not even a worry.
