Superb location by the River .Easy access to major visitor areas . Pretty village . Breakfast was included and adequate . Yoghurt with muesli & fruits , Excellent coffee and pastries with homemade jam. Bed was comfortable and good pillows . Nice quality bed linen. Bathroom was spacious, very clean and towels ok. It was chilly and a heater (also AC) was provided in the room. The Hosts were very friendly and helpful (Ben was an excellent Maitre d'). Food in restaurant was fresh and international menu covered a wide range of tastes. Portions generous. They offer a range of events like a quiz, free french lessons on a Thursday evening and live music. Lovely terrace off restaurant as well as a beer garden in Summer.

Signage required to parking . Wine wasnt local which is a pity as local wines are excellent. House wine was Languedoc . A few French style dishes on menu would have been good.

Nous avons passé un très bon we de pâques. Nos deux hôtes et ben 🐶 sont accueillants, agréables, souriants, prévenants, généreux et de bons conseils. Tout est fait pour que l'on se sente bien. Les chambres sont simples spacieuses et confortables. Fraiche malgré le 30 degrés de ce we. Le petit dej très complet et rassasiant (pain, beurre, confiture, croissant, chocolatine, granola fromage blanc et fruits rouges et jus d'orange frais, café). Les repas sont bons et glaces de très bonnes qualités. La biere à été très appréciée et le rhum aussi 😉. Bien situé, calme, jardin pour flaner et vue sur la Dordogne. Parking privé et gratuit. Prix raisonnable restaurant et petit déjeuner. Merci beaucoup

Everything! The room was beautiful and had the most comfortable bed. The views are stunning and the hosts were lovely.

Breakfast exceeded my expectations, croissants, yoghurt, juice tea and coffee in a beautiful setting looking over the Dordogne.

No tea or coffee facilities in the room , but I know if we had asked the hosts would have been accommodating.

The breakfast was good.

We arrived late as we had been visiting friends. On arrival we asked about food and were told it was late (15mins before the kitchen closed), however they would ask the kitchen, we asked if there was anywhere else we could eat locally, the answer was your are in rural France! My wife stayed to order food while I put the bags in the room. The room was very basic, I would say it was more like a hostel. On going back up for food, we ordered something basic and that is exactly what it was, very basic with no thought to presentation. We had booked 3 nights and admit it was our issue the room was more basic than we had anticipated, didn't reflect the photos on Booking.com and had a musty damp smell and feel. The location was a quite nice by the river, however the area around is less welcoming and a little industrial. The internet was very slow almost non existent in the room, a little better in the Bar Area, again when we asked and were told you are in rural France! We decided to move on and booked somewhere else for our last night. When we informed we were leaving and paid our bar and food bill we got a very cold reception from the owners who made no effort to ask why or appease our disappointment. On our return home and keen to leave reviews for the various places we had stayed, we were surprised the Brasseurs Du Pont was shown as cancelled! Which meant we could not leave a review? Booking.com sent us an email asking if we had stayed and if we had paid for the stay? We confirmed we had stayed for 2 nights and had paid in full. This was our issue as the quality of the accommodation was not to our standards, however we do not feel the photos of the rooms are not reflective of the offer. We stayed in some amazing places on our journey around France however remain disappointed with this one.

On arrival our room was cold, the bathroom heater was fine but bedroom one was intermittent. Other than that everything was good.

Emplacement au calme, le long du fleuve/ravière, Pas loin des plus beaux villages de France, la Dordogne profonde comme on l’aime !

Les photos embellissent trop la chambre! qui ne dispose de rien sauf sèche cheveux comme équipement (pas de tv, mauvaise réception wifi) la chambre est froide visuellement! (Un lit au milieu d’une pièce blanche et un petit banc pour poser vos affaires, mais très propre! douche à l’italienne bien chaude avec un jet d’eau impeccable
