Picturesque Hotel Room with Private Balcony in Waikiki!

Didn’t have workable hair dryer

so many cockroaches everywhere inside the room #303. made complaint to the staff in the front desk but nothing he did. asked to change the room but nothing. requested the booking.com to refund but nothing. do you happy to sleep with cockroaches? It's the first time bad experience with bugs of whole my life. terrible.

The room was quite small and it samed the in room was not maintained. For example the light by the front door was flickering and the clock in the bathroom was not working.

The room was clean and a fresh atmosphere. The smoke detector went off during the day for no reason. The hotel staff weren't aware it was going off, but they got someone in immediately to fix the fault. Was very happy about that. We would stay here again, should we go to Waikiki/ Hawaii again. Fabulous location too.

There wasn't a picturesque view, as looks onto other parts of the building. The worse thing we experienced was Booking.com were of no help as their system wasn't accepting our payment. They said that my card was rejected. I got in touch with my bank and they said there was no blocks on it, and that there was no evidence that Booking.com had tried the so-called 7 times. After a week their customer service were still of no help. I feel sorry for the property/room owner for this. I looked into things further and found I could do the payment via Paypal. So the owner set this up, and we paid for the accommodation that way...... yes using the same credit card.
